The color black in a dream means prosperity and happiness. In a dream, everything black represents money, dominion and power and particularly for those who are used to wearing black. Otherwise, as for those who are not used to wearing black garments, wearing it in a dream means sorrow.
The unconscious, unknown; hidden or avoided, the unaccepted side of self, not being aware, depression; fear, death. Also the eanhy, or source of life and growth. What is hidden in the unconscious or body can be powerfully transformative. Black clothes or undergarments: hidden or unconscious feelings or sexuality. Black animals: unconscious drives and urges. See dark.
A symbol of emotional stagnation or a depiction of the unconscious or the unknown. Grief and death, but also magical power and fertility. In earlier books about dreams, black animals are always seen in an unfavorable light, while white animals are always considered positive images.
Black represents the power of the darkness, the unconscious, what is hidden, and the manifest power of the earth. It may represent grief or morbidity. Black is also considered the color of death. Wearing a black dress in your dreams may suggest mourning, while a black hat suggests having good manners.
To see the color of black in your dream represents disapproval in a person or situation. It also stands for darkness, isolation, and unimportance. Black can also symbolize concealment, dishonesty, or the end of life.
If your dream is all in black and white (with no color), you are experiencing an internal change. Your conscious and unconscious selves are merging to create a greater self. This is a positive dream of unification.
To dream of any black animal is unfortunate, for these are associated with evil spirits (Artemidorus) ; the Chinese attach cspecial misfortune to the symbol of the black cat. American Indians hold it as a symbol of good luck.
To dream of having a black eye symbolizes your refusal to see the truth about something. This dream often suggests that the dreamer is experiencing emotional pain, possibly related to a romantic situation.
Black grapes, although in reality are excellent buit in a dream they do not augur well for the one who sees them.
The reason being that Hadhrat Nooh (AS) cursed his son out of anger. Consequently, the grapes that the son had in his hand turned black. Therefore, in view of this incident, there is no benefit in seeing black grapes.
If you dream about a black hole, it is a warning about getting pulled into undesirable situations by people who have a bad influence on you. Rethink your relationships and how much power you give others over yourself. This dream can also indicate that something or someone in your life has just came out of nowhere.
If white: one’s natural drives, feelings about coloured people; or if person is known, what you feel about them.
If black or brown: one’s own cultural feelings; same as any person’ dream.
Example: \ was in a cubicle or small toilet with a very black coloured woman. She told me there was something wrong with her vagina. She was undressed. I rubbed her vagina and we both felt enormous passion. I then awoke but couldn’t at first remember the dream. I have refrained from sexual intercourse for some weeks, as I always feel shattered/ tired afterwards. Anyway I woke very wet, yet couldn’t remember any orgasm. I could remember some question of sex as I awoke. Then I remembered the dream and continued it in fantasy. I experienced powerful urges to find a woman to have a non-committed sexual relationship with. But in the end I wanted to share my feelings with my wife, but she seemed deep asleep and unresponsive. When I slept again I dreamt I was in London, had got off one bus, but was not at any destination. I was standing about not making a move to find my direction. Then I began to look’ (Alfred C).
To understand this dream in some depth it is helpful to think of a sexual drive as a flow, like a river. As such it can be blocked, in which case it will seek an alternative route. Sexual energy or flow is not simply a mechanical thing, ihough; it is also deeply feeling in its connection with the most profound sides of human life such as parenthood and the canng and providing for young. In the history of white people a great deal of sexual frustration has arisen out of the ideas of sin and guilt in their religion.
A view arose for the white race that the black races had an easier and less frustrating relationship with the natural —which includes not only sexuality but the body as a whole, and nature also. So when Alfred dreams of the black woman, he is meeting what is natural and flowing in himself, but which he has blocked by his will because he felt shattered after sex.
The pan about the bus shows him trying to find a direction in which his sexual feelings could move satisfyingly in connection with other people.
Unfonunately, as Jung points out in Man and His Symbols, people in modern society, whether black, yellow, brown or white, have lost their sense of nature and the cosmos as being anything other than processes without consciousness or living feeling. Jung says. No river contains a spirit, no tree is the life principle of a man. no snake the embodiment of wisdom. No voice now speaks to man from stones, plants, and animals, nor does he speak to them believing they can hear.’ The importance of such dreams as Arthur’s is that it shows the passionate relationship between our personality and the pnmitive and natural.
A black person, born and bred in a modern setting, would most likely dream of a black bushman to depict their own natural drives. See identity and dreams; Africa; sex in dreams.
(The corner stone of the Ka’aba; God’s House in Mecca) Seeing or holding the Black Stone of the Ka’aba in one’s dream means paying allegiance to the ruler, or it could mean repentance from sin at the hand of a pious Imam, or it could mean kissing one’s son, wife or bosom friend. It also means serving people in the government.
If one sees himself touching the Black Stone in his dream, it means that he will follow and learn at the hand of one of the Imams of the Arabian peninsula. Seeing the sacred Black Stone in a dream is perhaps an indication of going to perform one’s pilgrimage.
If one sees himself cutting into the Black Stone in a dream, it means that he wants people to follow his personal opinions.
If he sees the pilgrims searching for the Black Stone but cannot find it in a dream, it means that he thinks of himself to be right and the rest of the people to be wrong. It also could mean that he possesses a knowledge which he hides from others. Ifhe touches the Black Stone in his dream, it means that he follows the teachings of an Imam from among the Hijazite Arabs.
If he sees the Black Stone being a castle for himself in a dream, it means that he follows religious innovations.
If he swallows the Black Stone in his dream, it means that he is a affected person who will mislead people. (Also see Ka’aba; Corner Stone)
Dreams of a blackberry symbolize forbidden fruit and/or passion that you cannot express in the light of day. Dreams of a phone/organizer/address book represents that you are realizing the enormous power you have in the palm of your hand. See Fruit and World Wide Web.
To see in your dreams writing in white chalk on a blackboard, denotes ill tidings of some person prostrated with some severe malady, or your financial security will be swayed by the panicky condition of commerce.
Vision: Writing on a blackboard: start managing your money better and don’t borrow any right now.
A blank blackboard: expect to receive a note—and pay careful attention to what is says! Wiping a blackboard clean: you have thought through your new approach to a project much better than before.
Depth Psychology: Are you looking at a blackboard for help and advice? Is the advice a warning to watch out for losses and risks? Is it a reminder from your unconscious to prepare a certain matter more carefully? You will know the answer better than anyone else.
Blackmail suggests that there is a part of us that is aware of information that we hold. However, we have difficulty in sharing that information with others. We may also be called upon to account for past actions.
(Jailer) In a dream, a blacksmith represents a strong personality, a leader, or a powerful and a skillful ruler.
A blacksmith in a dream also represents the angel of death. Seeing a blacksmith in a dream or being one, indicates both happiness and adversities.
To be brought before a blacksmith in a dream means an accident that will bring one before a person in authority for intercession. Otherwise, it could mean seeking the fellowship of a worthless person.
If one sees a sick or a deceased person sitting with a blacksmith in a dream, it means that he is in hell, and particularly when his face is blackened from the smoke, or it could mean that he may be imprisoned. (Also see Bellows)
Vision: Seeing a blacksmith indicates that you should start working on yourself, developing your talents, accepting fate with courage, and thereby “forging” your true personality. Seeing a blacksmith at work: “strike while the iron is hot”!
Depth Psychology: The blacksmith is working on personality traits that are rigid and unbending. Blacksmith dreams are always a sign of change, of a personality being formed. What are you “forging” in the dream? Maybe the dream suggests you use your energies and creativity to solve your problems and reach your goals.
Dreaming of a necromancer is a very bad dream and should be meditated on along with the whole dream. Dreaming of this necromancer practicing his black arts denotes there are evil people around you that will try to influence your life and spoil your domestic bliss.
To dream of a spider denotes that you are being ignored and overlooked by others. Perhaps you feel that it is best to avoid someone or something that will only influence you negatively.

General Meaning: Represents a spirit of fear and spirit of infirmity. Negative: Spiders to most people are not pleasant creatures.
If you have a strong fear of spiders, then they would speak of your fears in your dreams. • Generally though, they speak of the work of the enemy.
The good news however, is that they are not a strong attack and refer to something that you can easily overcome. • Even though a spider can be deadly, it can also be easily killed.
The Word says that we can trample on serpents and scorpions, and the same is true of spiders! • Spiders speak of the work of the enemy.
If you have been getting involved in things that you should not be, then seeing a spider in a vision is an indication that Satan has gained access in your life. • It speaks of the things that the enemy would like to poison you with, bringing you pain and discouragement. • In the spirit we often see spiders as spirits of infirmity. This is a good picture, because even in the natural their bite causes pain and sickness. • A Spider’s web speaks of a subtle work of the enemy that is not obvious at first. When we were first starting out the Fivefold Ministry was really new. We faced a lot of opposition! • Often in the spirit we saw this huge spider weaving a web trying to slow us down.
The Lord showed us that this was the result of the words of many other ministries speaking against us. • Through these negative words, they were licensing a curse against us and giving the enemy a chance to slow us down. There is no work of the enemy that is stronger than the work of Calvary though. • We stood against those words in the spirit and the fact that you are reading this today is proof that we did indeed overcome. • Isaiah 59:5 They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eats of their eggs dies, and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.
